European Federation of Journalists responds to Armenian police officers’ actions against journalist Satik Seyranyan

The European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) calls on the Police of the Republic of Armenia to stop harassing journalist Satik Seyranyan.

This is stated on the official Twitters of the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ) and Secretary-General of the European Federation of Journalists Ricardo Gutiérrez.

Let us remind that yesterday, late in the evening, police officers visited the apartment of President of the Union of Journalists of Armenia (UJA), Editor-in-Chief of 168 Hours newspaper and 168.am Satik Seyranyan to possibly hand more notices to remove a particular article.

Let us note that in the past, the Police would deliver these notices to the editorial office.
