COLONEL DOUGLAS MACGREGOR: THE US WILL NOT PROTECT ARMENIA: TURKEY AND ISRAEL ON A COLLISION COURSE IN THIS REGION

Douglas Macgregor, U.S. Army Colonel (Retired), Decorated War Veteran and participant of the Gulf War, Former Senior Advisor to Secretary Of Defense Under President Trump, now a political commentator and analyst, and Dr. Arthur Khachikyan, Stanford PhD in Political Science, discuss U.S. Foreign Policy and Its Implications for Armenia.

Colonel Macgregor thinks that the U.S. doesn’t really have a coherent military and national strategy under the Trump Administration and is governed by a group of billionaire led by President Trump, and globalist elites govern Europe.

Recalling that today marks the end of the Somme offensive in 1916, which caused hundreds of thousands of casualties in the British, French and German armies, War Veteran noted that after that in fact the United States was dragged into the First World War, and in Colonel Macgregor’s judgement, this was the beginning of everything goes wrong in the History of European Civilization.

“We should never gone into that war. The British were insane to do it, we were even dumber to do it, because we had a President who simply didn’t understand Europe, didn’t understand world and thought that he was God, and would have imposed his solutions on the rest of the World. We’re still in Europe, we’re still in the Middle East”, Macgregor says.

“So we’re at the end of this long period of misery and misfortune, a hundred years plus, and we see no immediate end inside. So the possibility that something good comes out of the backchannels between Putin and Trump, is something that we should all welcome. But we have to be reasonable in our expectation, we have to suppress them. And the question, of course, for you is what does this mean for Armenia. Armenia fall in this confusing mix”, he added.
