Recovery of the Azerbaijani soldiers’ bodies was not carried out due to Azerbaijani fault: Defense Ministry of Artsakh
The recovery of the Azerbaijani soldiers’ bodies was not carried out because of Azerbaijan violating the agreements which were reached in advance during negotiations, the defense ministry of Nagorno Karabakh informed.
The ministry released a statement, saying: “Today, on February 27, the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan finally released the names of its victims in the neutral zone, which resulted from its attempted offensive in the morning of February 25.
The Azerbaijani side didn’t forget to mention that “the Karabakhi side hindered the process of recovering the bodies by making new demands”. The Defense Ministry of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) announced that in accordance to the February 25 agreement made between the sides mediated by the OSCE Personal Representative of the Chairperson in Office, the evacuation of the Azerbaijani bodies was to take place on February 26 in the neutral zone, which the participation of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
However, yesterday the process was not carried out due to Azerbaijani fault, since it violated the agreements which were made in advance during negotiations.”
