Documentary about the Armenian Genocide to be screened at De Niro’s Film Festival
World premiere of documentary “Intent to Destroy” about the Armenian Genocide, author of which is Emmy-winning Joe Berlinger, American documentary film-maker, will be launched at New York’s Tribeca Film Festival.
“Academy Award®-nominated director Joe Berlinger takes an unwavering look at the Armenian genocide after a century of denial by the Turkish government and its strategic allies,” writes Entertainment Weekly.
It’s also stated that a conversation will follow with director/screenwriter Joe Berlinger, poet and nonfiction writer Peter Balakian, composer Serj Tankian, and producer Eric Esrailian.
Tribeca Film Festival/TFF was founded in 2002 by prominent American actor Robert De Niro.
This year it’ll be launched on April 18 and will last till the end of the month.
