Armenia’s new Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan says his first trip in the new capacity will be to Artsakh on May 9.

Candidate for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan says he is certain that the negotiations for the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict cannot be complete and effective without the participation of one party – the leadership of Artsakh.

“Being a musician – I am a drifter, who is traveling the world all the time, but I want to spend at least two months a year in Armenia,” SOAD frontman Serj Tankian told reporters in the Armenian parliament.

Nikol Pashinyan, candidate for the Prime Minister of Armenia, assures that if elected as PM the priority task of the new government will be forming a national solidarity atmosphere in Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora.

Armenian border soldiers detained six foreigners overnight May 7 – May 8 in a thwarted attempt to illegally cross the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. From which side the foreigners attempted to cross into which country is yet unclear.
