Yerevan police released a footage showing opposition protesters attacking police officers in Baghramyan Avenue.

Opposition MPs from the Yelk faction are arriving in the Parliament of Armenia as lawmakers are set to vote for electing a Prime Minister.

Opposition MP Nikol Pashinyan and his followers have once again blocked several streets in downtown Yerevan Tuesday morning.

In accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh Republic), the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the ceasefire regime on the border of Artsakh and Azerbaijan, in the north-east direction of the Hadrut region, the foreign ministry of Artsakh reported.

Yerevan Police Department (YPD) is entitled and authorized to disperse the rally using special measures in accordance to the law, police said in a new statement as protesters continue the illegal rallies in the city.

Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan relieved Aram Araratyan from the post of spokesperson of the Prime Minster.

12 people are still hospitalized after the April 16 rally in Yerevan. One of them is a police officer who underwent surgery and is currently in a stable condition, the healthcare ministry said.

Police Chief of Armenia Vladimir Gasparyan has arrived at Baghramyan Avenue. Gasparyan is walking in the avenue watching the developments.

The details of the death of conscript Alek Karapetyan have been revealed. A criminal case has been initiated charged with murder. The suspect is identified and arrested.

18 people have been hospitalized in Yerevan’s St. Gregory The Illuminator Medical Center as a result of clashes between police forces and opposition MP Nikol Pashinyan’s crowd in Baghramyan Avenue earlier in the day.
