The press conference of AGBU Armenia and Fruitful Armenia on launching the Women Entrepreneurs Program in Artsakh took place on June 4, 2019. 

 Armenia has raised at the OSCE the issue of Azerbaijan holding military exercises without prior notification, Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said today in response to opposition MP Tigran Urikhanyan’s (Prosperous Armenia) question at a committee hearing.

Mnatsakanyan also said that the cooperation between the governments of Armenia and Artsakh has been and remains principled and effective.

 Announcement on the details of the meeting of foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Elmar Mammadyarov, including the date and location, will be announced very soon: the parties will announce that simultaneously, the Armenian FM told reporters in the Parliament, asked when the next meeting will take place.

Opening a path to dialogue for the visa liberalization with the EU states is a key task for Armenia. In this sense the communication between the representatives of Armenia’s migration service and other agencies and the respective specialists of the EU member states is very important, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said at the joint session of the parliamentary standing committees.

During the current academic year children studying at Armenia’s high schools will have an opportunity to present their innovative ideas at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. The prize fund of the competition comprises 5 million USD, the Armenian ministry of education, science.

The European Union has increased the amount of assistance provided to Armenia compared to the previous years. The EU will provide 25 million Euro additional support to Armenia in 2019, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said during the joint session of the parliamentary standing committees.

Jailed retired general Manvel Grigoryan has been transported to a civilian hospital from a correctional facility’s medical unit.

Armenia expects that the roadmap for the implementation of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) with the European Union will be completely approved at the second session of the Partnership Council to be held on June 13, Foreign minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said during the joint session of the parliamentary standing committees.
