On July 29, at around 03:00, the Azerbaijani armed forces, violating yesterday’s agreement on the ceasefire, again launched a provocation in the Gegharkunik section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, in the direction of Karvachar, by opening fire at the Armenian positions from firearms, the defense ministry of Armenia said in a statement.
The Ministry of Defense released the names of the three Armenian servicemen who were killed in action during the July 28 Azerbaijani attacks.
An agreement on restoring the ceasefire at the line of contact of the Armenian-Azerbaijani troops in the north-eastern direction has been reached at the mediation of the command of Russian peacekeeping forces, the Armenian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

The Azerbaijani military units which attacked the Armenian positions have been repelled to their original positions as of 09:20, suffering losses – the Armenian ministry of defense said in a statement. It added that the firefight still continues.
Three Armenian servicemen were killed in the ongoing Azeri attacks on Armenia, the ministry of defense said in a statement. Two more troops are wounded.
On July 28, at around 03:40, the Azerbaijani armed forces launched a provocation and violated the ceasefire in the northern-eastern section of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
A serviceman of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army was fatally wounded “in yet unclear circumstances” in a northern military outpost on Monday night.
Their actions violate the right to property; free movement; right to animal husbandry; right to earn family income, and other vital rights of Armenia’s residents. They destroy the peace and normal life of civilians.
On July 26, at around 03:30, the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire from various caliber firearms at the Armenian positions located in the Gegharkunik section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
