Rogozin Removed his Facebook Post: Reflection of Edward Nalbandyan
“Mutual military assistance agreement with Artsakh is in process,” Edward Nalbandyan, RA MFA, told at today’s RA NA session, replying to the question of MP Khachatur Kokobelyan, which steps have been taken regarding the assignment of Serzh Sargsyan at National Security Council session.
“The contract or accord with NKR is currently being developed, it’s not a simple process, expert work is needed. It’ll be implemented as soon opinions by corresponding structures are provided, and the proper moment comes,” Nalbandyan said.
Kh.Kokobelyan also asked what steps have been taken regarding the statement by RF Deputy Prime Minister Rogozin during those hard days of war, and whether one of the reasons of war resumption wasn’t postponing of the supply of military equipment by Russian loan.
E.Nalbandyan stated that out of diplomatic nature and type of work, not everything is being published, or a small part of it is being publicized, there are some meetings, talks, which may give no results.
As for Rogozin’s statement, Nalbandyan mentioned that Rogozin removed his post from the social network. “Meetings touching upon this have been launched and opinions have been expressed,” he said. Nalbandyan stated that Azerbaijan failed in negotiations and wasn’t able to create favorable conditions at the negotiation table. According to him, the main document on settlement by the level of the three presidents is the 5 statements, to which Azerbaijan neither makes reference and nor wants to accept.
“They failed and tried to get certain privileges through military operations. Again they failed and will have to return to the negotiation table,” E.Nalbandyan said.
