Armenian Company to Export Dutch Roses to EEU Member Countries

RA Government passed a decision to allow “Armyanskiy urazhay” company to make use of technological equipment, its consistent and supplementary parts, raw material imported within the investment program, as well as of the privilege of freeing from customs duties till the end of next year.

Artsvik Minasyan, RA Minister of Economy, stated that the company built on 11 hectares greenhouse in Kotayk Province within the investment program, plans to grow high-quality Dutch roses, for which around AMD 1.637 billion will be invested, from which about AMD 1.337 billion will be directed to equipment acquisition.

“Due to the abovementioned investments it’ll be possible to produce production of about AMD 2.5 billion per year (2016), greater part of which will be exported to Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and other countries,” Minasyan said.
