Levon Zurabyan is Content with the Political Will of the Leadership
The memorandum of the results of discussions by “4+4+4” format around the Electoral Code has been signed at the National Assembly today. The political powers, reached to an agreement to publish signed lists of voters after the elections, as well as to online broadcast.
“What seemed unbelievable, what the political powers and the civil society have claimed for a long time, and it seemed the issue won’t be solved, is currently being solved. Today the incredible is becoming a reality,” ANC Faction Head Levon Zurabyan said, thanking all the participants of the process.
L.Zurabyan stressed with content the political will of the authorities as well and assured that there will be international reflection. He warned that this isn’t guarantee to pure and fair elections, however, it’s a cornerstone, “Our struggle continues, let nobody be in confusion that it ended. We should move forward to transparent elections.”
David Harutyunyan, Chief of RA Government Staff, in his turn, thanked participants of the discussions and highlighted signing of the memorandum from the perspective of political dialogue, as new culture.
Civil society representatives didn’t participate in signing of the memorandum. Earlier, they stated, that they had approved the memorandum.
