The Armenian side should carefully analyze this reality, and maybe it should exit both CSTO and EEU: Levon Shirinyan

“Belarus is a state ruled by authoritarian regime, accordingly, nothing happens there without knowledge of the president. Through blackmail Belarus lived rather long years on account of Russian gas and oil and gained on contradictions of Russia and Ukraine with Europe. Currently it does the same in case of Azerbaijan—it attempts to satisfy its economic interests with Azerbaijan with the circumstance of oil and purchase of armaments,” Levon Shirinyan said, reflecting to the arrest of blogger Alexander Lapshin and decision by Prosecutor General of Belarus, by which Lapshin should be extradited to Azerbaijan, adding that second part of that case is available as well.

“Lukashenko implements political responsibilities of a Trojan horse in alliances established by Russia—CSTO and EEU, pursuing certain expectations. This should be taken into consideration not only by Russians but by us as well: the Armenian side should carefully analyze this reality, and maybe exit both CSTO and EEU, as their sense is incomprehensible,” he stressed.

As for Azerbaijani activities, he considers there is nothing surprising: it’s pan-Turkism.
