Jesuz Lozano has intentions to bring international investors to Armenia

“In Salamanca there were like 400 start-ups, in a very small place, with very interesting companies, with very interesting investors. Why not bring them here, make them to realize, make them to know this country?”,  asked  Jesuz Lozano, strategic Consultant by SiliconSEEDSConnectors on May 3-rd, in Armenia Marriott hotel, in Yerevan, during the “Nurturing innovative growth in Armenia” organized by “Support to SME Development” (SMEDA) project, to learn about the possible financing opportunities for Armenian  Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and the support provided to SME environment.

As Jesuz Lozano  mentioned, “There are very good companies, there will be some  connect to stay here couple of days, a week. They are looking for technology. Some companies in Salamanca were so impressed of Armenian product. So, now they are estimated when come, so possible to meet them, to check  the environment … They have to go to the international level”.

Armenian startups took part in Startup Olé conference in the Spanish city of Salamanca on April 26-27 due to the cooperation between the EU Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development Project, Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development National Center (SMEDNC) and Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), as well as the assistance of GIZ’s “Support to SME Development in Armenia” program.

During the conference the Armenian companies established ties with startup companies and  investors from Spain and other countries. The Armenian startups had a unique chance at the event to be involved in the European startup ecosystem.
