Passenger flow in Armenia’s airports increases by 28.3% January-April
The passenger flow in Armenia’s two – Zvartnots and Shirak airports comprised 668 589 people in JanuaryApril 2017, which is an increase of 28.3% compared to the same period of 2016. Satenik Hovhannisyan – spokeswoman of the General Department of Civil Aviation, told “Armenpress” in April 2017 the passenger flow in Zvartnots airport amounted 183 108 people, exceeding the figure of April 2016 by 38.9%.
In January-April 2017, compared to January-April 2016, 25.7% increase of passenger flow was registered in Zvartnots airport. The cargo transportation in Zvartnots airport comprised 7246 tons of goods in January-April 2017 which is an increase of 82.8% compared to the same period of 2016.
In April 2017 the passenger flow in Gyumri’s Shirak airport comprised 5283 people, exceeding the figure of April 2016 by 745.3%. In January-April the passenger flow in Shirak airport increased by 334.5% compared to January-April 2016.
