Which are products having the highest customs value imported to Armenia?

The customs value of the 10 products having the highest customs value imported to Armenia in 2016 amounted to 1 billion 200 million 564 thousand USD. According to the customs service, the top 10 highest customs value products imported to Armenia are natural and liquefied gas, noncrude oil, petroleum products, passenger vehicles, diamonds, pharmaceuticals, mobile phones, raw tobacco, wheat and maslin, unprocessed aluminum and ethyl alcohol.

In 2015, the total value was 1 billion 305 million 638 thousand USD, with the top 10 products being the same, except for cigars, cigarettes and cigarillos. 347 million 93 thousand USD worth of natural and liquefied gas was imported to Armenia in 2016, with a total volume of 2 billion 234 million 262 thousand cubic meters.

As compared to the previous year, the volume has decreased by 391 million 843 thousand cubic meters, and the customs value by 167 million 220 thousand USD. The import volumes of non crude-oil and petroleum products in 2016 comprised 318 thousand 215 tons, and the customs value was 198 million 477 thousand USD.

The customs value has decreased by 14 million 973 thousand USD as compared to the previous year, while the volume has increased by 20 thousand 267 tons.
