Angela Merkel says necessary to find alternative to Incirlik base in Turkey
Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel announced the necessity of finding an alternative to the Incirlik military base in Turkey.
The German Chancellor’s statement comes after the Turkish government once again banned German lawmakers from visiting the German soldiers stationed in the base, CNN Turk reported. “We must study the alternatives. Jordan is a probable option,” she said.
