CIS heads of states’ Council session expected to be held in Sochi in October
CIS heads of states’ Council session is planned to be held in Sochi in October, CIS Executive Committee Chairman Sergei Lebedev told reporters, TASS reported. “The regular session of the Council of the CIS heads of states is planned to be held in Sochi on October 11,” Lebedev said.
He said considering the desires of the administrations of heads of CIS states, the most important issues for countries will be presented at the session. Lebedev also informed that the Council session of the CIS Foreign Ministers will be held on October 10 in Sochi.
He stated that the Council session of heads of CIS governments which was held in Kazan on May 26 was ‘productive, constructive and with positive result’. Sergey Lebedev said the CIS ‘will continue the work on deepening the economic and humanitarian cooperation’.
