Wanted man attempts to use ATM with stolen card in Yerevan

Law enforcement agencies launched proceedings to identify the man who stole a wallet from an office in Yerevan.

According to preliminary information, the unidentified person entered the premises of an office in the morning of May 2 in Yerevan’s Arshakunyats Street, and stole a wallet which contained cash and credit cards.

The same day, an attempt was made to cash out money from an ATM with the stolen card.

A criminal case was opened.

Police obtained footage from the ATM’s surveillance cameras.

Footage shows how the middle aged man, wearing sunglasses, is attempting to use the ATM.

Law enforcement agencies are currently trying to identify and apprehend the man.

Anyone having information on the identity or whereabouts of the man depicted in the photo is requested to contact police immediately.
