“Taking into account the existing threats in the region, the blockade of Armenia by Turkey and its denialist policy, as well as Azerbaijan’s anti-Armenian policy, I want to state that security issues will remain as one of the most important issues of our agenda”, Sharmazanov said.
“The other amendment includes prolonging the 10-day period for discussing the application to 30 days – thus enabling more comprehensive discussions”, he said.
As a result of discussions the PM considered it necessary to discuss what action in particular can affect the general demographic picture. He also attached importance to the study of international experience and tasked to amend the draft considering the voiced concerns.
The president highlighted such meetings from political and practical viewpoints, qualifying them among key components of constructive internal political dialogue.
During a working consultation with president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on September 12, justice minister Davit Harutyunyan reported on the process of works aimed at developing legal acts deriving from constitutional reforms, including, the constitutional draft laws, as well as the timetables for submitting them to the Parliament.
