Head of Yerevan’s Kentron administrative district announces resignation

Head of Kentron administrative district of Yerevan Viktor Mnatsakanyan announced his resignation today on Facebook.

“Dear compatriots, dear residents of the Kentron district. Already one year has passed since I assumed office. I assumed this function by the proposal of my friend Hayk Marutyan [Mayor of Yerevan], and the goal was the honest desire to develop our lovely Yerevan jointly, with a teamwork. That one year was not a big time for implementing all our goals, but was enough to understand the problems of the district and develop a right strategy for solving them. But now I want to inform that I have submitted my resignation letter”, he said and thanked Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for the trust, once again reaffirming his support to the PM’s political course.

Mnatsakanyan also thanked Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan for the joint work.
