‘Our actions should be directed for Gyumri’s strategic development prospect’, says Pashinyan
The government’s task should be to ensure the normal urban, economic development of the Gyumri city, which, in fact, is the tool to overcome poverty in Shirak province, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during today’s Cabinet meeting.
“Now thanks to our decisions certain economic activeness is noticed and will expand also in the context of the creation and operation of an external economic zone. You know that Ryan Air will soon operate flights to Gyumri, and this city should become an active tourism place. All our actions should be directed for the strategic development prospect of Gyumri”, the PM said.
He reminded that it is possible to overcome poverty only through work, and it is possible to have a proper job only through education.
Pashinyan said the government should do everything for the children to pay attention to those compatriots who reached success thanks to their job and education. “And this is also one of the key components of the strategy for overcoming poverty”, Pashinyan said.
