‘Greatest goal of our policy is to change self-perception of state official’, says Armenian PM
The greatest goal of the policy of Armenia’s leadership is to change the self-esteem, self-perception of a state official, as well as the perception of the people towards a state official, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in his remarks at an event dedicated to the day of employee of the Special Investigation Service.
“The following has been, is, continues and still will continue in Armenia for certain time that officials in Armenia very quickly acquire the so-called complex of rulers. And our task is to replace this complex of an official with the “complex of Jesus”. What I mean by saying this. The state official should understand that he/she is both a servant and a ruler at the same time. Because separating these two from each other will not be sufficiently useful in the status of a state official, because if we do so that the state official will be guided only with the standards of a servant, this means that we will lead him to a situation that he will not be able to make decisions. Therefore, what is the good part of the image of Jesus, that he [state official] is both a servant and a ruler at the same time. He is a servant by 100% and a ruler to the extent that he can make decisions and explain the logic of these decisions to others and can also make the logic of these decisions familiar to others”, the PM noted.
