Failed Revolution
So many revolutions begin with such high hopes and lofty ideals.
Yet, so often they go astray in a myriad of ways.
Why?
Is it the corruption of political office and power?
Or is it simply that the protest visionaries are unable to govern and administer well?
It seems that the problems are far more complicated and deeply rooted.
Ideologies are inadequate to fully analyze and comprehend the complexities of reality.
The situation is no doubt compounded
when the vanity of politicians leads to a failure to reach out to rivals for assistance.
The result is that revolutions are usually incomplete.
And before long,
we will have to start a new revolution once again.
