Yesterday in Dalma Garden Mall the ceremony of the opening of the first Multiplex movie theater too place. A reception was organized for the invitees of the ceremony and was accompanied with the concert of Hollywood non-stop band. Soundtracks of famous films were played. Before the launch of the actual ceremony a press conference was held, during which the director of the movie theater Hrachya Arshakyan, deputy-president of Tashir Group Tatevik Karapetyan and CEO of Cinema Star Karine Aghajanova presented the whole essence of the project. Cinema Star is the first and only theater of its format, which implies a new generation of entertainment. This new cultural center that occupies over 500 square meters encompasses not only new 6 movie theaters but also large leisure rooms for people of all ages and preferences. The policy of showcasing movies is built in a way in order to enable the Armenian public see the most popular films in the world. It is planned to show the movies in Armenian, Russian and in the original language. Cinema House cooperates with Fox, Disney, Paramount Pictures and other world famous companies. The theater is equipped with the top of the line technologies – Dolby Digital 7.1, 3D, HFR (48/60 scenes in a second). The theater is presented in 6 movies halls. Three of the six halls have 107 seats, two have 47 seats and the other is a VIP hall with leather armchairs and with private service included. Soon the opening of a classic restaurant will be opened with a special design and architecture. Part of the area of the theater is allotted to a gallery, where currently Igityan’s exhibition is done. In the same area there is also a very large Play Lab, which includes various games for all tastes, attractions for children, etc. It is a perfect place for a family and close friends. The tickets in the regular halls will cost 1000-3500 AMD and in the VIP hall the price will be 4000-6000. The prices depend on the format of the films. The cinema will work every day from 10 am till midnight. According to Arshakyan some films may be showed after midnight. The opening ribbon of the theater was cut by Tatevik Karapetyan and deputy-mayor of Yerevan Davit Ohanyan. Among the honorable guests were the first lady of Armenia Rita Sargsyan, Prime Minister’s wife Gohar Sargsyan and others including from the show business. The invitees also watched a film by a German filmmaker named Diana.
