While the society was discussing the revolution attempt by Shant Harutyunyan, another revolution took place that was unnoticed. This was not a forced revolution but civilized one, and it was not in the street but in people’s thinking. This was an inner revolution and was successful.
Who is Shan Harutyunyan? Is he a political prisoner or a hooligan that was arrested for violating the public order? Should he be treated as an activist who was arrested for his struggle against the government or someone that violated laws and order? P
“It is impossible to solve the border problem; we will have to live as we are doing now – separately. What can we do? We can’t bring the sea towards us. We did not have physical borders with Tajiks and Turkmens either, but we lived together,” said Nikolay Rizhkov, member of the Russian Federal Assembly, during his visit to Yerevan.
“The Customs Union is a new window of opportunities for the Armenian economy. Instead of fighting for freedoms and rights in streets now the format of making democracy has been taken to the newly reconstructed building of the parliament, where the more the opposition criticizes the government, the more stronger the government becomes.
