100,000 dollars for the construction of mother church or Stepanakert

For decades Stepanakert was deprived from having its own mother cathedral of apostolic belief despite its key importance. For filling this gap, Armenia’s religion leader Garegin B blessed the construction of a cathedral to be built with sponsorship of Tashir charity organization.

“The role of Tashir charity foundation is significant in this construction project as its board decided to donate 100,000 dollars for it. I

t is no secret that the Karapetyans always signify the existence of religious symbols in Armenian communities and they have always supported the construction of these churches. They have held wide-scale projects with Echmiadzin mother cathedral. The last initiative is aimed at constructing a cathedral in Artsakh,” reads the statement.
