‘Burning’ Face Mask That Eliminates Scars and Blemishes from Your Skin
Why are these ingredients so effective? Cinnamon Cinnamon has been used for thousands of years now due to its powerful anti-fungal and anti-viral properties. It has antimicrobial effect and thus lowers the risk of certain diseases caused by bacteria. In addition, it contains strong antioxidant compounds that prevent the premature damage or destruction of healthy cells in the body and in the skin.
Nutmeg Nutmeg functions anti-inflammatory and helps in the healing process of scars. It has been used since long ago as a remedy for various skin diseases, including eczema. Nutmegs are rich in B-vitamins, including riboflavin (B2), folic acid (B9), and niacin (B3), as well as vitamin C, vitamin A, and many antioxidants such as beta-carotene and cryptoxanthin. Honey Honey has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and thus it has the ability to disinfect and heal acne. It absorbs impurities and cleanses the skin while the antioxidants contained in it iron out wrinkles, hydrate the skin, restore its glow and make it radiant and soft. Lemon juice Lemons are rich in vitamin C and we all know that this vitamin is responsible for building collagen in the skin, which is essential for the maintenance of its strength and youthfulness. Lemons soothe and brighten scars and blemishes, and thus give your skin a beautiful and radiant look. They also perfectly clean the skin’s pores and provide a healthy complexion. However, lemons make your skin photosensitive, so you should not expose your skin to sun for at least 10 hours after using this mask. Preparation:
- Mix all the ingredients together, so that you get a smooth paste.
- Apply the mask to your face evenly, avoiding the areas around your eyes and your mouth.
- Leave it on for 30 minutes or at least 10 minutes if you simply cannot endure the slight prickling sensation. However, you should have in mind that this sensation will go away in less than 5 minutes.
- Rinse the mask off with warm water and apply your usual face cream.
Attention:
- Provided that you have sensitive skin, you should either skip the lemon juice or add more honey so that the mixture becomes thicker.
- Do not use this mask as a face scrub.
- This mask is not recommended to those who suffer from couperose, rosacea, and other vascular skin disorders because honey dilates blood vessels. You can replace honey with clay. It should be mixed in the same ratio as the rest of the ingredients and watered down to the wanted texture.
How to use it: Keep in mind that this mask works gradually. Apply it twice a week and you will notice a great improvement in your skin. Hope you like it!
