Canada Calls for True Ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh
Canada is concerned by the recent escalation of violence in Nagorno-Karabakh.
As reports referring the official statement of Canadian Foreign Ministry, Minister Stéphane Dion called on all sides to show restraint, immediately return to a true ceasefire, and actively resume dialogue within the framework of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group.
“Canada firmly believes that there is no alternative to a peaceful, negotiated solution to this conflict,” Minister Dion said in a statement.
