“One shouldn’t Serve Azerbaijani Interests on Account of Armenia’s Interest”
“Armenia-Russia relations currently face a hazardous stage. This heavy four-day war showed, that our relations aren’t on the level, expected by a RA ordinary citizen,” MP Khachatur Kokobelyan said at today’s joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs and the RF Federal Assembly Federal Council Committee on Defense and Security.
According to him, nowadays, at least, we live in the open society in Armenia and there are dry facts, which don’t speak in favor of Armenia-Russia friendship. Expressing for the idea, that Armenia-Russia relations may be equal and based on partnership principle, the MP stated that one shouldn’t serve Azerbaijani interests on account of the interest of the Republic of Armenia.
In Kh.Kokobelyan’s opinion, nobody can justify change of the Board Meeting of EEU Prime Ministers and nobody may say, that it wasn’t pouring water over Azerbaijan’s mill. He stressed that Russia should give adequate assessment to Azerbaijan’s activities and suspend supply of offensive weapons.
