Armenia and Iran Eliminate Visa Regime
On the forthcoming session to be held on June 2, RA Government will approve the agreement to be concluded between the Governments of the Republic of Armenia and Islamic Republic of Iran on freeing of entrance visas of the citizens. Upon RA Government bill, it comes from the necessity of boosting bilateral relations between Armenia and Iran, to strengthen mutual economic, trade and other relations.
The regime of mutual visits of the two states defines, that citizens of both countries may enter without visas with their ordinary and diplomatic passports and stay in the territory of the states with 90 days maximal term, in the period of 180 days.
“Signing of the agreement will boost bilateral torusim and provide more beneficial conditions for mutual visits of the citizens of RA and IRI,” the bill reads.
