Arthur Abraham is Proud that Bungestag Adopted the Resolution on Recognition of he Armenian Genocide

Armenian athlete Arthur Abraham, who is the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Super Middleweight former titleholder, reflected on the German Bundestag’s passing of the resolution on the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

“I, boxer Arthur Abraham, am proud that on June 2, the German Bundestag adopted a resolution condemning Armenian Genocide,” “Armenpress” reported. “We, Armenians living in Germany, have spared no effort since many years to serve this matter of pan-Armenian significance.”

“We need to continue, in the whole world, our struggle aimed at the recognition of, condemnation of, and reparation for the Armenian Genocide.

Recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide will prevent new crimes of genocide, and prepare a fertile ground for the rapprochement of nations.

I am proud that I am Armenian, always and everywhere. I am doubly proud today, since the country where I live, Germany, adopted a resolution condemning Armenian Genocide.
