United Air Defense System Acceptable for ANC

Eduard Sharmazanov, NA deputy speaker, didn’t study the agreement on creation of CSTO air defense system. Today he promised to study it before the discussions are launched and introduce it to the journalists. Naira Zohrabyan, Head of Prosperous Armenia Faction, told 168.am that she didn’t manage to observe the agreement either, as she’s just back from a business trip and didn’t manage to get acquainted with the document.

Aram Manukyan, secretary of ANC Faction told, that it is based on the agreement of 1995 and is an acceptable document. He stated that the issue how they’d vote hasn’t been discussed in the faction yet, “Probably we’ll vote for, as it’s the continuation of the 1995 agreement.” In reply to the circulating standpoints that Armenian air is also being handed to Russians, A.Manukyan advised “not to adopt childish approaches.” “Armenia-Turkey border is protected through the means of Armenian-Russian joint air defense,” A.Manukyan said.
