0% Price Growth to be Recorded by the End of this Year: Vache Gabrielyan
“2.7% price reduction has been recorded, the dynamics shows that throughout summer months we’ll also record price reduction, and by the end of ongoing year 0% price growth will be recorded,” Vache Gabrielyan, Deputy PM, Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms, told today at NA, replying to the question by one of the MPs: how does price growth affect, in particular, on pensioners’ living standards?
According to him, the only price growth is recorded in the field of service, “Price growth background for 2016 particularly doesn’t affect consumption of pensioners.”
Reflecting to reduction of transfers, the Deputy PM stated that flows outside country’s economy can’t be taken into consideration, however, reply to the factor affecting consumption is boosting economic growth, i.e. resisting to international developments only through economic growth is possible, and statistics shows, that Economic Activity Index (EAI) comprises 6% in 5 months, as for the quarter—4.2%.
