Deputy Finance Minister Pavel Safaryan says the Government will present a program on cutting state spending by the end of June. Currently ministries are engaged in discussions.
Asked which directions of the budget will be cut, Safaryan said: “It would be very naïve for me to disclose my opinion of spending cuts firstly to you. Firstly I will talk to the Government. We believe there are areas where cuts must be done. For example, there are expenses which are necessary, but they don’t give the needed results. These expenses will be discussed during the budget discussions. We are currently working with all ministires and we will present a program until the end of June”.
