What will Armenia gain from the EU next year?
Armenia will receive 9.1 billion AMD official grant from the European Union in 2017, First Deputy Finance Minister Atom Janjughazyan said during the parliamentary debates of the 2017 state budget. “The official grants are not provided for targeted programs. Armenia received 12.6 billion AMD official grant from the EU in 2016,” he said.
The First Deputy Minister added that Armenia will receive 9.7 billion AMD grant from EU for the targeted programs in 2017. He stated that those funds will be provided by the European Commission, as well as other European structures. The EU will provide 4.3 billion AMD loan funds to Armenia in 2017.
