For the first time the audience will watch Anastas Mikoyan’s grandson’s—songwriter, guitarist Stas Namin’s “Armenia’s Oldest Temples” documentary with the commenting of His Holiness Karekin II at Moscow’s Documentary Film Center. “Armenia has been a magic country for me since childhood, about which my mother always told me, and my grandfather and his brother were born in mountainous village with a romantic name Sanahin. Life of all my relatives is linked to Armenia, it turns out, that I’m also Armenian, which was touching me until recently as a man, born and grown in Moscow,” Namin said.

For the first time the songwriter visited Armenia, when he aged 14, he took the first photos in Sevan, and then in the small mountainous village tested lavash with cheese and honey, which are his favorites until now.

Then he had a few occasional visits to Armenia, and a few years ago, upon the invitation of his friend, benefactor Ruben Vardanyan, Namin travelled to Armenia and Artsakh.

During that trip he passed more than 2 thousand kilometers and documented the movie.
