Montenegro media outlets calls defeat to Armenia “shocking”
Montenegro’s media called the 2:3 defeat of their country to Armenia in the World Cup qualifier “shocking.” Reprezentacija.me posted the video of the match and entitled it “Our team’s shocking defeat in Yerevan.”
“Ljubiša Tumbaković’s team, having huge advantage after the first halftime, suddenly suffered 3 goals and let the match have a surprising outcome,” the website reported.
The Armenian national football team staged a dramatic comeback to earn their first victory in World Cup 2018 qualifying. Trailing 2-0 against Montenegro at half-time, Armenia fought back and scored a sensational winner in the 94th minute.
