I don’t exclude PM Karen Karapetyan’s joining RPA: Eduard Sharmazanov

Eduard Sharmazanov, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Spokesman of RPA, considers that Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan in the coming days will apply for membership to the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA). He told reporters that fact that one of the key figures of the country has decided to join the RPA is very important for the party. Sharmazanov didn’t exclude PM Karen Karapetyan’s joining as well.

“The logic is very simple: after the constitutional reforms the role of party figures will increase in politics. If you want to do politics, you should be a member to this or that political party. It is very important that our Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan has decided to join the party. He is a decent, honest, patriotic and professional political figure,” Sharmazanov said.
