Commenting on the provocative actions that took place in the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Sergey Minasyan said Azerbaijan uses the holiday season and tries to show that the tension in the border continues, peace is not maintained, military threats still exist.
“The CSTO Secretariat is strictly concerned about the information received in connection with the armed incident that happened near Chinari village of Armenia. We consider such actions within the territory of the CSTO member state as a provocation, in particular, against the backdrop of quite a serious incident in Nagorno Karabakh Republic in April of this year during which heavy armored equipment was applied.”

The Channel 10 report said Attorney-General Avihai Mandelblit had authorized police to question Netanyahu under caution, and that a date for the interrogation would be set in the coming days.

Gevorg Altunyan, Head of Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, told 168.am that he can’t clearly state how many casualties the Armenian side has suffered, “Casualties have been recorded on both sides, direct military operations are ongoing, i.e. we can’t provide full information on casualties or the wounded until military operations are over.”
Armenian Armed Forces engaged in a battle with the Azerbaijani forces. Sniper and mortar fire are being used. The Armenian Armed Forces fully control the situation – preventing the encroachments of Azerbaijan.
