Draft submitted to State Duma on ban of “sanctioned” products from Armenia and other EEU member countries

Russian government has submitted a draft law, which anticipates imposing ban on turnover of goods of separate category supplied to Russia from EEU member countries, ministers’ cabinet website informs.

Russian government also considers that the draft may strengthen productivity of trade turnover and provide common conditions for turnover, not relying on supply mode and many other factors.

If the law is adopted, Russian government will have the right to ban turnover of products, imported from second countries by the rules varying from those of EEU, RBC informs.

For Russians it may mean reduction of the opportunity to buy the so-called “sanctioned products”.

EEU member countries are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
