I am sure, under your leadership, Armenia will pass this stage of its development: Putin to Sargsyan
Over the past 25 years the relations of Armenia and Russia received full allied essence – in the true sense of the word, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, “Armenpress” correspondent reports from Moscow.
“The relations of Armenia and Russia have always been built on very deep roots, which date back to centuries, the past. This way it continues also in the current stage of development,” Putin said. Vladimir Putin also mentioned that April 3 will mark the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between Armenia and Russia.
“We know that our meeting is taking place in the background of the preparation for big domestic political events in Armenia. The parliamentary, National Assembly election is scheduled for April 2 in Armenia.
I am sure, under your leadership, Armenia will pass this stage of its development. I wish you success,” Putin said.
Putin also underscored that Armenia and Russia are cooperating in almost every direction, in international organizations, including the organizations which operate in the post-Soviet territory, as well as universal international organizations.
