Artur Sargsyan didn’t die, but was murdered: human rights activist
“Artur Sargsyan didn’t die, but was murdered. He became another victim of the incumbent authorities. We edified a legend, we saw how it develops, however, that legend shows that despite the policy pursued by the authorities, which urges that the active part of the society left the country, was disappointed, the step by the “Bread Bringer”, activeness of the youth during the protests shows people will always be found, who, for the sake of their dignity, and not for some political ideas, are ready to come out, ready to go to prison, to hunger strike,” Vardan Harutyunyan, human rights activist, head of “Center for Rights and Freedom” NGO, told reporters today.
In his words death of Artur Sargsyan should become a reason that our society spoke more, and reporters wrote much on the concept of precautionary measure,
“It’s been more than 25 years that Armenia declared itself an independent state, as if taking a different direction, however, Soviet approaches are being maintained towards a human.”
He stressed that after Artur Sargsyan was released, he was detained for the second time, as the authorities couldn’t arrest him. In his words, while in freedom the “Bread Bringer” appeared with his proud posture before the public, which according to him, the authorities couldn’t bear.
