Tsarukyan faction won’t nominate PM candidate for upcoming election
The Tsarukyan faction of the Armenian parliament will not nominate a candidate for PM in the upcoming election, president of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), leader of the Tsarukyan faction Gagik Tsarukyan said during a TV program on Kentron channel.
“The people must decide to nominate that candidate. We will give our vote as one person with our entire team to the people’s candidate. We won’t nominate a candidate, we will endorse the people’s candidate,” he said.
In response to TV host Petros Ghazaryan’s remark that the people’s candidate is Nikol Pashinyan, Tsarukyan said: “The candidate is Nikol, Sasus [Michaelyan], Ararat [Mirzoyan], I am saying again – we will give our vote like one whole to the people’s candidate”.
