Artsakh’s military dismisses Azerbaijani “propaganda-machine” distortions
The Ministry of Defense of Artsakh has commented on the Azerbaijani reports regarding Private Arayik Ghazaryan, the conscripted serviceman of the Artsakh’s military who has appeared in the Azerbaijani territory in circumstances yet to be determined.
“The Azerbaijani propaganda machine is distributing on the internet photos of Private Arayik Ghazaryan, conscripted serviceman who appeared in the Azerbaijani side on August 12 of 2019 in circumstances yet to be determined. It is mentioned that the serviceman has left his service location due to non-statutory relations, and the minor scratches and scars on Private Ghazaryan’s body are falsely presented to be evidence of violence against him.
Presenting reality in a distorted way and attributing one’s own atrocities to the other side is the well known style of the Azerbaijani propaganda machine. The Artsakh Defense Ministry’s press service is urging to dismiss the false claims of the Azerbaijani side, which are aimed at solely undermining the image of the Armenian soldier, and to wait until the investigation is completed, the results of which will be accessible to the public”.
