Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a decision according to which Valery Osipyan was appointed chief advisor to the PM.
In addition, Vladimir Gasparyan, serving as deputy defense minister on December 3, 2010, extended the military service term of one of these servicemen for five years.
The President signed the respective decree based on the Prime Minister’s proposal.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has submitted a recommendation to President Armen Sarkissian to dismiss Valery Osipyan as Police Chief of Armenia, Sarkissian’s aide Hasmik Petrosyan confirmed to ARMENPRESS.
“He was arrested by the National Security Service yesterday evening on charges of accepting a bribe,” she said.
