Drug mule carrying 3kg of body packed opium caught at Armenia border
A citizen of Yerevan has attempted to illegally transport drugs from Iran into Armenia but was caught by National Security Service (NSS) border agents at the Meghri border checkpoint.
The NSS said the drug mule body packed 3 kilos of opium and attempted to cross the border on October 20. Authorities said the man bought the drugs in Iran.
The suspect is charged and remanded in custody while the NSS continues investigating.
