Le Monde Journalists’ Young Guide Dead “Hetk”
The journalists of French Le Monde newspaper and their guides has been targeted in Artsakh’s Martuni city. Independent journalist Hermineh Virabyan who was accompanying “Le Monde” journalists in Artsakh in her interview with “Hetk” said that their guide, a citizen of Martuni has died.

After finishing their work in the capital, on October 1, they have visited Martuni with journalist Hermineh Virabyan. They had decided to look at the destroyed houses and talk to people. A local young man (Grisha), who knew the area very well had joined them in Martuni to show the places.
The journalists were planning to visit 5 houses. After filming the episode with the first house, they step out and go to their car which had the sign “PRESS”. This is when they hear the sounds of bullets. For a moment they had thought that it is coming from a far, however they had reacted very fast afterwards and ran away to different directions.
