Karabakh Conundrum
The Karabakh negotiations will require a very tough dialogue,
if we are ever to find even a partial solution.
Everyone will have to give up something quite significant.
Maybe more than they think they can bear.
The alternative is giving up more lives and livelihoods.
With tears in their eyes,
who will make the first painful step forward?
And remembering their lost ethnic kin,
resolutely say
‘my enemy must become my neighbour’.
