David Yeremyan’s success recipe: set goals, never stop and create lasting values

Within the framework of the events marking the 5th anniversary of Yeremyan Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality and ahead of the 6th academic year, the Academy initiated a meeting for its students and graduates with David Yeremyan, the founder and CEO of Yeremyan Projects, who is the author of successful, large, and unique projects and has made the greatest contribution to the development of the restaurant sector in Armenia.

Aida Tigranyan, the director of Yeremyan Academy, opened the event with a welcoming speech. She highlighted the purpose of the meeting, titled “David Yeremyan’s Recipe for Success: The Past, Present, and Future of the Restaurant Business in Armenia.” Tigranyan emphasized that the event offered a unique opportunity for attendees to hear Yeremyan’s personal success story, gain insights into the restaurant and hospitality industries in Armenia, and learn about the challenges and opportunities in the field.

“All of you here are individuals who have a dream and are actively pursuing it, as evidenced by your presence today. I’ve often said that to become a good professional, you must love what you do. In this field, it is impossible to succeed without continuous learning, development, passion, effort, and energy. I began my journey with this understanding. From my experience, being a restaurateur means making it a lifestyle. It was this passion and having a dream that helped me start my path, overcome many challenges, and lay the strong foundations of Armenia’s restaurant industry,” said David Yeremyan in his address.

Looking back to the year 2001, David Yeremyan first presented the journey he undertook, how everything started, and shared the difficulties and challenges he faced along the way, however he also inspired the participants. “Regardless of what you start with or the scale of your initiation, you should always have the aspiration and will to achieve more.

Everything started from a small stall, but I had a vision, a dream to reach new horizons and heights, and the desire to achieve it—despite the difficulties—never be afraid and never retreat.

He also answered the participants’ questions. In response to the question, “What is David Yeremyan’s recipe for success?” he answered: “To be able to set goals and not surrender under any circumstances… and for this, you need to answer three main questions: What am I doing? How am I moving forward in this constantly evolving world? And what results do I want to achieve?”

While discussing the history of his success, David Yeremyan also introduced his sister, Lusine Yeremyan, who has supported him throughout his journey with her advice, support, and encouragement.

“I am proud to present my sister, Lusine Yeremyan, to you today. Lusine is a sought-after specialist who has worked in Armenia and abroad for nearly two decades, holding leadership positions in various international organizations, including the United Nations, the World Bank, and the Millennium Challenge Foundation. Lusine has played a significant role in the development of these organizations through her strategic advice and introduction of innovative ideas.

Now she has moved to Yerevan to join our company, where she will assume the role of my deputy and take on the responsibilities of Marketing and Communication Director. She is also a member of the management board of the Yeremyan Projects group of companies,” he said.

David Yeremyan emphasized that the success of any company is rooted in its people and team. “Yeremyan Projects” has successfully brought together dedicated, responsible, and creative individuals. Thanks to their consistent work, values, and principles, the company continues to evolve and present new programs and products to the public.

During the meeting, discussions focused on expanding the business into new regions and abroad, the organization’s development vision, upcoming initiatives, and other important topics related to the restaurant industry.
