This Conflict May not Have Military Solution: Frank Walter Steinmeyer
Frank Walter Steinmeyer, OSCE Chairperson-in-office, German Federal Foreign Minister, expressed his concern on escalation of military tension on Nagorno Karabakh—Azerbaijan contact line. The German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs states, that Steinmeyer expressed his concern for human losses, in particular, among civilians.
“I call on the parties to stop the fighting immediately and respect strictly the cease-fire regime. This conflict may not have a military solution. The parties should show a political will and return to negotiations within Minsk group. The co-chairs have my complete support in this,” German Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs said.
